Tim Tebow Gets Heartbreaking News, Family Asks For Prayers And Healing

Tim Tebow needs your prayers for healing after news broke that an injury to his hand will need to have surgery. The former Football start known for his show of Faith on and off the field will not be returning to the Baseball field for a while.

The Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies slugger more than likely be out for the season according to an inside source close to Tebow.

The surgery on a small bone in his hand is scheduled for Tuesday and will likely spell an end to Tebow’s season. This could also crush any hope Tebow had for a potential September call-up to the New York Mets.

Tebow has yet to comment on his surgery but he did post an uplifting message to fans in typical fashion. His faith seems to be stronger than ever despite the setback.

The Wild Card reports:

While the setback is significant, all is not lost. There’s little reason to think that Tebow won’t bounce back from his injury. The hamate injury is actually fairly common in baseball and rarely a long-term, debilitating injury. Los Angeles Dodgers star Justin Turner actually broke his in spring training and was able to return to form mid-season. There will likely be lingering discomfort for Tebow, but he should be able to get back to work sooner than later.
