Gillette DESTROYS Nike, Posts Powerful Video of NFL Player Who Made True Sacrifices

Society told Shaquem Griffin who couldn’t be a professional athlete. He was born with amniotic band syndrome, and a severely deformed hand that was amputated when he was only four years old.

Thankfully, he didn’t listen to the voices that said he couldn’t achieve. He listened to his father. Griffin grew up to become linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks, and unless someone just flat out told you, you wouldn’t even notice he’s missing a hand.

Gillette has made the awesome decision to feature Griffin in its latest iteration of the long running, ‘The Best A Man Can Get,’ ad campaign.

We see a young Shaquem already with a love for football posing with his game face in front of the bathroom mirror.

Then an older version of himself and his brothers receiving shaving tips from his father

His father always believed in him, and they would practice backyard drills together.

They knew it was all going to pay off huge one day!

Shaquem was drafted by the Seahwaks in 2018, he joined his twin brother who was drafted the previous year!

Griffin told ESPN what was going through his mind in that moment,

“I couldn’t breathe, I didn’t know what to say. I was trying to get the words out, but I couldn’t talk,”

“It was tough — I’m not going to lie to you — seeing all those guys picked in front of me.”

He shared a video of his family rejoicing with him when they saw him be drafted on tv. He used the hashtag, #AgainstAllOdds

Here’s the commercial he made with Gillette. Keep an eye on him, he’s going to be a star!

Never give up, because your dreams will come true!
