Dallas Cowboys Stun The Nation With Their Response To “Take A Knee”

On Sunday the 24th NFL fans everyone stood in stadiums and booed as several teams took to the knees during the National Anthem. The Pittsburgh Steelers chose to not participate at all and did not even come out for the National Anthem in their game against the Chicago Bears.

Their protest in mass numbers comes after President Donald Trump went off script in a speech and said:

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of the NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say ‘Get that son of a b*tch off the field right now?'” He Continued. “You know, some owner … is going to say, ‘That guy who disrespects our flag, he’s fired,'”.

After this coaches and player from the Detroit Lions, New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins, and Jacksonville Jaguars joined in on the protest first started by Colin Kaepernick.

Well… for one Glorious moment that “take a knee” campaign was stopped for at least tonight by one of America’s most Patriotic Football teams, The Dallas Cowboys!

Just before the Anthem they locked arms and took a knee to show solidarity and understanding for those who refused to stand for the Anthem. While this happened some boos could be heard in the stands.

However… they did not stay down on their knees. Watch what happens next.

Here’s that moment:

Right before the Anthem began got right back up and remained standing to show support to our troops and honor the true meaning of our National Anthem while singer Jordan Sparks performed.

Jerry Jones stands up with his team for the National Anthem

They took a stand in solidarity for America and while the Anthem played the crowd could not have been more alive.

It’s good to see that there are still some real Patriots in this nation who know the importance of standing for the Anthem.

While it may not be exactly what Cowboys fans were expecting, the show of solidarity just before the Anthem was a defining moment for America. Let’s all come together and set the Politics aside.

Dak Prescott had a moment where he looked up to Heaven and as he looked back down said, AMEN!

And the flag waved in all it’s glory!

God bless the Dallas Cowboys, we’re even bigger fans now more than ever.

SHARE this if you stand with the Cowboys
