Dallas Cowboys Just Revealed What They Will Do At Tonight’s Game

After yesterdays demonstration of kneeling for the Anthem there has been a lot of speculation going around on what the Cowboys might do on Monday night. In the wake of last nights protests people have been asking, will the Cowboys stand or take a knee?

That’s been a big debate seeing as in a recent interview Jerry Jones has said…

“I just feel so strongly that the act of recognizing the flag is a salute to our country and all of the people that have sacrificed so that we can have the liberties we have. I feel very strongly that everyone should save that moment for the recognition of the flag in a positive way, so I like the way the Cowboys do it.”

The Cowboys have been working on crafting an answer over the past few hours and CBS 11 was able to talk to someone representing the team.

It’s not a long winded answer but it does give us some insight inito the mindset of the team as a whole.

“Our statement will be a statement of unity.”

One team leader explained.

The Cowboys Leadership Council, which is made up of about 14 players, has long taken a stand that “unity and positivity” are the themes that bond the team together.

So what does this exactly mean?

The Jones’ family has urged for a “respectful anthem moment” and some players have discussed standing and locking arms in a show of unity!

This still leaves a little to the imagination but it looks like none of the Cowboys will be taking a knee tonight. We’ll just have to wait and see.

SHARE this if you will STAND with the Dallas cowboys!
