Trump’s Approval Rating “The Highest Number We’ve Ever Seen At CNN Polling.”
Despite all the back and for over the past few years, it seems a lot of people have been wrong on Trump and what they think the American people truly think of him. Turns out those who have been saying the people disapprove of him are actually quite wrong.
The latest CNN Polling shows something we are sure the Dems will try to argue. The topic of President Trump’s approval rating on the economy came up on CNN, and David Chalian who is with CNN said “Trump’s 56% approval is the highest number we’ve ever seen at CNN polling. It’s the high watermark in the entirety of the Trump presidency in CNN polling.”
Turns out it is the highest approval rating on the economy that Trump has received during his presidency, goes to show that the people are starting to agree with and see the changes that are taking place for the better in the country since Trump has taken office.
CNN also went on to report that President Trump’s high economic approval rating comes after the economy performed better than expected during the first quarter, growing 3.2% compared to the expected 2.5%. Talk about a great jump for the economy after suffering under the previous administration.
The result comes on the heels of the announcement that the US economy grew at a much better rate than expected in the first quarter, and Trump’s performance on the economy becomes one of his prime selling points for next year’s general election.
The economy is the President’s best issue tested in the new poll, with his other approval ratings all below 50%. Even among those who disapprove of the way the president is handling his job generally, 20% say they approve of his work on the economy. That’s larger than crossover approval for any other issue by 12 points.
The acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney, stated at a recent conference in Los Angeles that Presidents Trump’s handling of the economy would help him win re-election in 2020. Mulvaney said:
“You hate to sound like a cliché, but are you better off than you were four years ago? It’s pretty simple, right? It’s the economy, stupid. I think that’s easy. People will vote for somebody they don’t like if they think it’s good for them,”
I can definitely see why he is stating this, I mean, why wouldn’t you keep someone in office that is doing nothing but helping us, and our economy. Despite whether or not you like the person or not on a personal level, look at what he has done for o9ur country on that level instead.
56% of Americans saying President Trump is doing a good job on the economy according to a new CNN Poll conducted by SSRS. We say keep it up Mr. President!
