Ocasio-Cortez Slammed For ‘Green New Deal’ Fraud, Watch The Reaction From Her Supporters

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is no stranger to headlines, and it seems we will still be reading about her yet again in headlines. Honestly, they’re never good ones either. Though she tries to look like she’s doing good, in reality there seems to always be some sort of underlying scheme afoot.

Recently, Ocasio-Cortez setup a Family Fun Run that was promoted as supporting her Green New Deal, you know, the one where cow farts may be outlawed and whatnot. But it seems participants who signed up for this “Fun Run” that was to “Support the environment” actually seems to have been a complete deception.

Participants were seemingly unaware that their registration fees were actually going directly to the campaign of the congresswoman rather than helping the environment with the Green New Deal like they were told.

Ocasio-Cortez may have even “enticed constituents into inadvertently breaking federal election laws.” according to the New York Post.

Turns out The New York Post went to the event that was just held on Saturday. What they found while out there talking with some of the participants was shocking. The Post found out that some of the 398 participants appeared to be confused about where exactly the more than $11,000 raised by their registration fees was going, and looking at the below information, we aren’t shocked.

The website for Ocasio-Cortez and her event presented it as “a Family Fun Run supporting U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal”

Here is what is stated on the website itself:

“The Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 5K & 1K Kid Dash is a Family Fun Run supporting U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal on the Saturday following Earth Day. Listen to live music, enjoy Fogo Azul as you cross the finish and learn about a Green New Deal. The course will take you on 3 laps along the water on Shore Blvd in at Astoria Park in Queens. You’ll run between two majestic bridges on a route that is easy, flat and fast.”

Ocasio-Cortez posted on her FaceBook page, even up to the day of the event, that “they’re getting together “for our planet’s health” and “to fight for the Green New Deal together.” However, as anyone knows, you should always read the fine print at the bottom of anything you are signing your name or money too. At the bottom it states: “Registration fees are contributions to AOC for Congress, and have the general contribution rules.”

The confused was clear from the people participating that they indeed thought they were contributing to help the environment, but they really were not. Some people told The Post: “fighting for the Green New Deal and the planet. I think it’s really for this particular New Green Deal. No question,” Another person told them: “It’s to help the environment. To support the Green New Deal. It’s a good cause,”

Unfortunately for them, when The Post asked for comment, a spokesman for the congresswoman confirmed that it was in fact “a campaign fundraiser.” What a shady way to conduct the campaign and a deception of the people who might actually believe this deal could work.

Ocasio-Cortex may have even broken some Federal Laws doing this as well. Children were allowed to participate in the event, paying $20 fees for the 1k. Now, if those fees go to her campaign, AOC may have enticed constituents into inadvertently breaking federal election laws” because parents “can’t contribute their own funds in a child’s name.

Seems as though Ocasio-Cortez has yet again messed up big time, but we really aren’t that shocked. Nothing she has done so far has been up to par for any kind of reputable or respectful actions. It seems the Senate was on board with how ridiculous the Green New Deal really is, I mean, cow farts ladies and gentlemen. In March, Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell called for a vote on Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal; it failed 57-0. OUCH!

Good luck to Ocasio-Cortez with her new shit show she’s created for herself.
