Lindsey Graham Reveals What He Thinks Of The Investigation, “We’re Not Going To Learn Any More.”

The hearing was about Brett Kavanaugh and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, but South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham has suddenly become the star of the show.

During today’s Senate Judiciary Committee’s hearing, Arizona Senator Jeff Flake asked the chairman to delay confirmation for another week.

The was granted, and now the FBI will be looking into the claims against Kavanaugh. While Democrats cheer and Republicans boo, Senator Lindsey Graham left the hearing with a big smile on his face as he talked to reporters about what had just happened.

“What he said was ‘I would feel better if they had a week to look at what’s in front of us, no more’,” Graham told the press. “Some Democrats have said ‘okay’ with that.”

Graham went on to say he feels Kavanaugh has been poorly treated throughout the entire process, but he is unwavering in his support, saying “I’ve never felt better about Judge Kavanaugh than I do right now.”

When asked if this investigation would “save” the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, Graham said he doesn’t think Jeff Flake did this to save face.

“He just wanted to make sure the process is fair.”

“This is called Democracy,” Graham went on to say when asked about Flake’s call to hold off. “He talked to his colleagues, and they’re going ‘Jeff, please, please just give us a few more days.”

“Jeff’s a really good guy. I wouldn’t have done that,” Graham said with a laugh. “Please, let’s be fair. Jeff is trying to be fair. I just don’t see [how] we are going to benefit.”

Graham goes on to say that he has been doing this his “whole life,” and realizes that Flake “isn’t a lawyer.”

“This is Jeff Flake. I mean, this is what I actually like about the guy. All these people take it seriously, and Jeff is not a lawyer, and this is hard… This is Jeff Flake being sincere.”

Before heading off to meet with other Senate Republicans, Graham was asked how his party feels about the week long delay. Graham quipped back “well if I could quit talking to y’all I could go find out.”
