After Trashing Kavanaugh, Video Surfaces From Matt Damon’s Past That Shows Hypocrisy Of SNL Skit

The left-wing world of entertainment thinks that nobody remembers Matt Damon covering for Harvey Weinstein less than 12 months ago. Now they are using him to ridicule Brett Kavanaugh, as though his own defense of a serial abuser never really happened.

Saturday Night Live took their humor to another level in their season opener by using a man who helped kill a 2004 investigative report on Weinstein to portray a Supreme Court Justice nominee who has been accused of assaulting a woman in high school.

While many people would consider this “hypocrisy”, we have to remember that this is the direction Hollywood is going. They get upset when a gay character isn’t played by a gay actor. They get upset when a white actor runs around as “The Last Samurai”. So, it makes sense to have a man who denies abuse played an assault denier.

In case you forgot, here’s what Damon said about the big time Hollywood producer:

“A lot of people said, ‘Well, Harvey – everybody knew.’ That’s not true. Everybody knew what kind of guy he was in the sense that if you took a meeting with him, you knew he was tough and he was a bully, and that was his reputation. And he enjoyed that reputation, because he was making the best movies out there.”

“Nobody who made movies for him knew … Any human being would’ve put a stop to that, no matter who he was. They would’ve said absolutely no. You know what I mean?”

Damon himself refuted his own story by telling Michael Strahan in a Good Morning America interview that he “knew the story about Gwyneth”.

“I knew the story about Gwyneth from Ben because he was with her after Brad,” Damon said. “But I was working with Gwyneth and Harvey on Ripley.”

“Ben told me, but I knew that they had come to whatever agreement or understanding they had come to.”

So Damon knew about the abuse for a long time, but didn’t say anything about it because he was making movies with Weinstein. Now, SNL is using him to pretend to be someone denying assaulting a woman. We have reached peak irony.

Maybe this is what he has to do to get the #MeToo movement off his butt. The left was all over him for a time, but now he’s done the ultimate act to get them on his side: he made fun of a conservative.

That’s the only way he could get fans to forget that he and Russell Crowe helped kill a New York Times story on Weinstein. Hell, maybe they don’t care any more. They just want more famous people joining them in their quest to demonize anything and everything Trump does.
