Trumps Doctor Finally Releases Health Exam Results, One Thing Worries Him
President Trump’s health has been in question lately both physical and mental. After a recent update from his doctor we find out what that status really is.
Presidential physician Dr. Ronny Jackson said Tuesday that Trump’s “overall health is excellent,” and his cognitive health is perfectly normal.
In a press briefing to reporters this morning Jackson shared the status of Trump’s physical with reporters. Trump weighs in at 239 pounds, has a total cholesterol of 223 and his resting heart rate is 68 beats per minute. This brings up one concern about his health. At the president’s current body mass index he is borderline obese.
ABC news reports that “Jackson said he discussed “diet, exercise and weight loss,” among other topics, with the president and noted that a nutritionist would work with him in an attempt to change his eating habits, which are said to include a steady stream of fast food and red meat.”
President Trump takes a few medications to keep things in check. Aspirin for “cardiac health;” Propecia, a medication intended to prevent hair loss; Soolantra Cream, to combat the skin disease Rosacea; and Crestor, a cholesterol-lowering drug. Trump’s total cholesterol of 223 would be considered high under normal standards.
When asked about Trump’s mental health Jackson replied;
“Trump scored a 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment.”
This is the highest score and makes it clear that Trump is mentally clear. The doctor added that he doesn’t believe reviews of the president’s mental state should be made by anyone who has not examined him completely.
Looks like overall the President is on a good track but has a few things to button up.
