Protesters Deface Exhibit Honoring Fallen Officers After Raiding Border Patrol Museum

It’s a sad day when they things we have built to honor those who fight for our freedoms, fight for our rights, and fight to keep us safe are defaced by those who seem to think they are above the law, and above what those monuments, and Exhibits stand for.

Over the weekend, a group of protesters took to the Border Patrol Museum, they defaced numerous items, one which included the exhibit that honors fallen officers.

Talk about a bunch of heartless, and just flat out nasty human beings. The group of about 50 protesters were all donning masks to conceal their identity, as they overtook the El Paso, Texas, facility on Saturday according to Fox News.

The Museums Director, David Ham, told the national news outlet on Monday that:

“They immediately spread out throughout the museum, and displayed banners and began chanting and singing. While this was going on, other people in masks went through the museum placing stickers on most of our exhibits. These people were wearing masks, and their actions were concealed by others holding small signs to cover their actions.”

The director was not at the museum when this all went down, but he did have staff members there who were calling and were obviously upset, and for good reason.

Mr. Ham also told Fox News:

“We have cameras, and we saw them gathering in the parking lot. We saw them come in the museum, and she had called 911. I was able to watch the cameras on my cellphone. They came in after putting masks on. They proceeded to set up a bunch of signs and just went all over the museum. They of course had an agenda, they were chanting and singing songs, and then a couple of them got on a bullhorn. We had visitors in the museum. They started talking and kind of harassing them. Of course the staff was asking them to leave, and they wouldn’t leave.”

One of the many things they defiled was a wall honoring Border Patrol Officers who were killed in the line of duty.

Talk about a terrible group of people. While everyone is sitting around questioning President Trump’s actions, there are those out there that are doing nothing more than making us all realize that there is a problem here, a big problem. The sooner we come to terms with it, the sooner we can takes steps in the right direction to end all this hate.

This group is so distortedd they think what they did was a “just cause”, and they even took credit for what they had done.

The museum director did go one to say that they do not take kindly to vandals, and they have every intention of assessing the damage and possibly pressing charges against them.

Lets say a big prayer for our Border Patrol and their families, because this hurt them the most.
