Man That Stabbed “Baby Trump” Balloon Proves It Pays To Be A Patriot

The “Baby Trump” balloon that first appeared last summer in the United Kingdom was stabbed to death by a heroic patriot in Alabama over the weekend.

President Trump took a trip to the south over the weekend, and on Saturday he attended the LSU-Alabama football game. Of course, wherever Trump goes, protests follow, and this weekend was no exception.

The hero of our story is Hoyt Deau Hutchinson, 32, of Tuscaloosa. Hoyt is accused of cutting an 8-foot-long gash into the back of the giant inflatable, thus rendering it helpless.

Authorities later apprehended Hoyt, and charged him with criminal mischief. Within hours, a Go Fund Me campaign was started, and had raised over $20,000, proving that it pays to be a patriot.

This from Deadline:

The small protest was halted when Hutchinso approached the balloon and slashed it. Police said that officers witnessed the incident and charged Hutchinson with felony first degree criminal mischief. He was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail and held on a $2,500 bond.

Hutchinson posted a Facebook Live video hours before the incident saying he was “going down [there] to make a scene … I’m shaking I’m so mad right now,” he said. “I’m fixin’ to pop this balloon, without a doubt.”

He later posted a follow-up video, which has since been removed. “Some liberals tried to come to my hometown and start some trouble. That ain’t happening,” Hutchinson said in the video while wearing a Trump 2020 shirt. “I did get arrested. I got charged. That’s all right. I’d do it again given the opportunity.”

“I did get arrested. I got charged. That’s all right. I’d do it again given the opportunity.”

Sometimes this is what it takes to send a message. These protesters thought they were going to be able to go to Alabama and badmouth the president without anyone putting up a fight. The first amendment protects you from the GOVERNMENT. It doesn’t prevent a red blooded American from coming up and cutting a hole in your balloon, or perhaps much worse…

Not all heroes wear capes, my friends.
