Jagmeet Sandhu, a 23-year old from California, was arrested on multiple felony charges after allegedly forcing his girlfriend to take pills that led to a miscarriage.
NBC News reports that Sandhu was holding his girlfriend at gunpoint until she took unknown pills, according to the Bakersfield Police Department. Authorities began investigating after someone who claimed to be the unidentified woman’s family member reported the incident.
The woman then told the story to officers and confirmed she did have a miscarriage as a result. Detectives then searched “locations associated with Sandhu” and located evidence which corroborated her story, police said.
Inmate records show Sandhu is facing six felony charges, including first-degree murder, first-degree burglary, assault with a firearm, and inflicting injury on a spouse or cohabitant. Sandhu is scheduled to appear in court on Friday afternoon.
Now, while I am definitely happy that this dirtbag will face justice, it’s interesting that a California court is calling this “murder”.
California is one of the most liberal states, especially in regards to killing the unborn, but for some reason it appears they are now choosing to charge someone with murdering an unborn baby. How many abortion doctors has the state of California charged with murder? It’s the exact same thing, yet for some reason one is okay in the eyes of the state, and the other is murder.
So what is the difference?
The unborn child is terminated in both cases. What makes one case different than the other?
Some will say, “the mother wanted it”, but that isn’t justification for charging someone with murder when you believe an unborn child has no rights.
I can’t wait to see how the liberal dumpster fire that is California explain the logic behind this murder charge, because if this is murder in their eyes, they need to prosecute the entire state legislature.
