Kavanaugh Accuser’s Lawyer Admits Abortion “Motivated Christine” To Make Rape Claim

Remember Christine Blasey Ford? You know, the woman who accused Justice Brett Kavanaugh of gang raping her? Well, her lawyer just admitted what the rest of us knew to be true.

During a speech at the University of Baltimore’s 11th Feminist Legal Theory Conference, Ford’s lawyer, Debra Katz, said that her client was motivated to come forward to so that Kavanaugh would have an “asterisk” by his name.

“In the aftermath of these hearings, I believe that Christine’s testimony brought about more good than the harm misogynist Republicans caused by allowing Kavanaugh on the court,” Katz said in the video. “He will always have an asterisk next to his name. When he takes a scalpel to Roe v. Wade, we will know who he is, we know his character, and we know what motivates him, and that is important.

“It is important that we know, and that is part of what motivated Christine.”

Wait, so, it wasn’t “justice” after all? The whole thing was an attempt to smear Kavanaugh for political gain? You don’t say…

Look, we knew this was the case, it’s just nice to have folks on the left admit it. Although, the remarks have left a lot of people stunned to say the least.

“Why would a competent lawyer say this?” asked Megan McArdle, a columnist at The Washington Post. “I’m stunned.”

The thing is, that “motivation” completely contradicts Ford herself. Remember, during the hearing she said:

“I am here not because I wanted to be. I am terrified. I am here because I believe it is my civic duty to tell you what happened to me while Brett Kavanaugh and I were in high school.”

Fast forward to now, and nobody talks about this lady. Democrats who had her back are now nowhere to be seen. Why? Because EVERYONE could smell the BS.

Now, we have an attorney willing to admit it. That’s neat. We need more truth telling, even if it’s unintentional.
