Ocasio-Cortez Responds To Trump’s Immigration Speech, It BACKFIRES

We know things have been divided as of lately with the Government shutdown due to mainly the Dem parties disagreement for the border wall. It has caused strife among people that hold different viewpoints on the matter at hand. Yet some are conducting themselves in a better manner than others have been.

Some, like Ocasio Cortez have just seemed to absolutely lose their sanity after President Trump gave his speech about where we stand on the border wall, and why it is so important that we continue onward with the process.

Cortez went on CBS show 60 Minutes a few days ago and stated she believe:

“I think that there’s a lot of people more concerned about being precisely, factually, and semantically correct than about being morally right. And not only that, but in the actual address, there was falsehood after falsehood and we have to make sure that we get our facts straight. Every day immigrants commit crimes at a far lower rate than everyday Americans.”

Yet, we see in the news daily of the illegal immigrants that have murdered American Citizens in cold blood. We have seen hate crimes of all sorts aimed at many races, not just one. They have brought chaos to the border when it is unnecessary because the US does allow lawful entry into the country. Why should anyone else be held above everyone else. No one is being singled out here, we all have to follow the laws of any land when we go to other countries.

She went on to say on MSNBC Tuesday night when she was speaking to host Rachel Maddow, and said some of the wildest and clearly loony statements of her career thus far.

“Every day immigrants commit crimes at a far lower rate than everyday Americans,” and went on to say that illegal immigrants  “are acting more American than any person who seeks to keep them out ever will be, President Trump has a proven track record of discrimination against anybody who’s really non-white in the United States, and that Trump assumed the office of the presidency with his racist and violent rhetoric.”

She went on to say that no one should feel unsafe in the United States, yet she’s saying the border shouldn’t be secured. Well, is it just me, or would having that open border make millions of Americans feel unsafe on a daily basis. That’s what the whole thing is about, keeping America, and its people safe. It’s not about race or who is right and who is wrong. It’s about securing our border and making sure those who do enter into this great country just follow the law and do so the right way.
