I believe we are all on this Earth for a reason, some have higher callings than others, yet we all play a special roll in this life, and in the lives of others.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders also seems to share the same beliefs. Sanders stated on Wednesday that she believes President Donald Trump’s presidency is part of a higher calling.
President Trump has long stated and showed his Christian faith, and evangelical voters have supported his presidency since the beginning of his campaigning. Trump and his administration have been fighting the good fight for these beliefs as well, but isn’t that a good sign of strength, standing before God and Country, and fighting for what you believe in.
Sara Sanders stated recently in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN):
“I think God calls all of us to fill different roles at different times, and I think that he wanted Donald Trump to become president, and that’s why he’s there, and I think he has done a tremendous job in supporting a lot of the things that people of faith really care about.”
Trump has shown strong support for issues such as, restricting abortion rights, eliminating a birth control mandate, and expanding school choice and voucher programs that would likely benefit private religious schools. All of which are heavily backed by strong evangelical leaders.
President Trump even took to Twitter to tweet out an endorsed for a controversial campaign to introduce Bible literacy classes to public schools. I mean, how could that be a bad thing to teach good things in school, although we know there would be some backlash.
Sanders even went on to say:
“I think he has done a tremendous job in supporting a lot of the things that people of faith really care about.”
When Sanders was asked about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her position on the proposed border wall, a dividing issue at the center of the longest U.S. Government shutdown in history, Sanders attacked Pelosi’s suggestion that ‘such a barrier was immoral’.
“Honestly, it’s very hard at this point to even take a lecture from Democrats on what is moral and what isn’t,” she stated, calling it a “ridiculous charge may even regret making that comment”.
Sanders also went on to say:
“Protecting the people of your country is the fundamental duty of being president of the United States,”
We are right there with you Ms. Sanders, and we support our President and his calling for this life. Whether you believe or not, it’s good to have a good Christian man in office, who wants to see the U.S. doing well.
