McDonalds displays powerful message about Jesus for the Christmas season
Christmas is one of my favorite holidays, not for the gifts, but for what all it stands for. It also has a way of bringing people together. We all gather as friends and family to spend time together in celebration. We take time out of our busy schedules to show one another love and cheer. It’s not about gifts and food, it’s about sharing the love and meaning of this great holiday.
The twinkling lights help as well. There’s something glorious about driving down a neighborhood street, all lit up with lights and other decorations. Besides, it’s the only time I can get away with putting a ridiculously large fake deer in my front yard. Thanks Rudoulf!
It’s almost a magical experience to witness it all. Heck, even companies get into the holiday spirit. Some with company parties, and others with decorations themselves. Most importantly, the main reason we celebrate, the birth of Jesus Christ. So when a company goes all out to make a statement, it doesn’t go unnoticed.
We all know McDonalds has made headlines before, mostly for their chicken nuggets and cheese burgers. Yet, McDonalds is making a splash right now in a more unexpected way. The fast food chain has been going viral lately for their Christmas window display, and having the name of Jesus on their windows.
A McDonalds in the great state of Tennessee, owned by Tony and Gina Wolfe, made an impact with their window display depicting a nativity scene, and the words “Rejoice” and “His name is Jesus” right next to the nativity scene. I great display of what the true meaning of Christmas is all about. Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe stated that this has been a family tradition for them for the past 40 years, and I must say, we love it!
A local girl by the name of, Amy Klutinoty, saw the painting and it spoke to her so much, she took a photo and shared it for everyone to see. It wasn’t long before the photo went viral with more than 81,977 shares.
Amy stated that the painting: “Made my day.”. We agree with you Miss Amy, it has made our day as well. His name is Jesus!
