The proud Trump supporting comedian Roseanne Barr will be the guest of honor at Mar-a-Lago over Super Bowl weekend, headlining the Trumpettes third gala.
The event is set for February 1, the night before the big game. According to the group’s founder, Toni Holt Kramer, tickets are going to be hard to come by, seeing as the event was sold out BEFORE Barr was even invited.
“Roseanne is a really loyal Trump supporter. If there was ever anybody who really put their mouth on the line and said how much she loves the president, she is one of them,” Holt Kramer said. “And you can’t get a hotter name in town.”
Roseanne is no stranger to controversy, but that’s me preaching to the choir. We all know what happened to her career when she mocked an Obama aide for looking like the “baby” from a ‘Planet of the Apes’ character, and a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. A joke that would probably land on 4chan, but not so much on Twitter…
After her rebooted show debuted to over 18 million viewers, she was subsequently fired after folks online threatened to boycott a program they were more than likely already not watching.
“You have to know Hollywood is a very left, Democratic community,” Holt Kramer said. “They want everybody to be on the left. And if you aren’t, you’re not going to work very often.”
“I know Roseanne, and if I know somebody who is not racist, it’s certainly Roseanne,” Holt Kramer said in her defense of Roseanne. “She’s a phenomenal woman.”
“I said there’s only one person I want. I only want Roseanne because she is the magic right now. So Daphne said she called Roseanne, who was in Hawaii cooking [Tuesday] night and she says to Roseanne, ‘Will you come to Palm Beach and do the event?’ And Roseanne said ‘Yeah, I want to come. I’ll be there.’”
