Country music artist Kane Brown has been a vocal supporter of our troops, and in his music video for the song “Homesick”, he highlights one of the brighter moments of military service: the homecoming.
The video is one of the first for his upcoming album Experiment, which is set to release in November.
A multitude of videos were submitted for consideration, and while many are never before seen, it also includes some that became nationally recognized stories.
Among the videos used is one of former Notre Dame basketball star Matt Farrell being reunited moments before tip-off with his older brother.
Prior to the game, Farrell’s brother appeared on the Joyce Center’s jumbo-tron, sending a message of well-wishes to the Fighting Irish senior. Little did he know that his brother was in the same building as him, waiting to surprise Matt and his entire family.
After the video on the big screen ended, Matt sees his brother walk onto the court, and the brothers shared a teary-eyed embrace. It’s hard to watch without the eyes welling up.

Check out Kane’s latest video that was created as a tribute to our country’s servicemen and women. In between the clips of homecomings, Brown’s band is filmed in a helicopter hangar with a group of California National Guard watching. It really is a special video.
