Why Is Media Censoring Transgendered People Who Regret Their Decision?

“Our children are young, naïve and impressionable, many of them are experiencing emotional or social difficulties. They are strongly influenced by their peers and by the media, who are promoting the transgender lifestyle as popular, desirable and the solution to all of their problems. And they are being misled by authority figures, such as teachers, doctors and counselors, who rush to “affirm” their chosen gender without ever questioning why.” Says the “who we are” section of a website created by the parents of children who have been diagnosed with a relatively new phenomenon called “Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria” or ROGD for short. These parents are horrified that today’s socio-political climate is pushing on children the virtues of not only wanting to be the opposite gender, but also taking serious medical steps to get there without the help, consent, or even knowledge of their parents.

Sky News recently did an article about a Charlie Evans, a woman who believed she was male for nearly ten years. Once she transitioned, she realized that it didn’t help her dysphoria like doctors, counselors, and teachers promised it would. She has since detransitioned and has come out to tell her story. “I was stunned by the number of people I’ve discovered in a similar position” she said. “I’m in communication with 19 and 20-year-olds who have had full gender reassignment surgery who wish they hadn’t, and their dysphoria hasn’t been relieved, they don’t feel better for it.”

Charlie is not alone. Walt Heyer is an older man who lived as a woman for many years. He has also detransitioned and often gives interviews online to warn younger generations of the dangers of transitioning before they’re sure its what they want to do. He has even started a ministry in hopes of helping these poor people deal with the mistakes that society has pushed them towards.

So why is it that you never hear about these people or these stories in the Main Stream Media? Why don’t more people know about Charlie and Walt and their tragic stories?

Ray Blanchard is an American-Canadian sexologist, best known for his research studies on transsexualism among other things. In May of 2019, he was briefly suspended from Twitter for “hateful conduct” for tweeting his opinion on minors who want to transition, based on his many years of clinical experience. Dr. Blanchard stated his belief that sex-change surgery is the “best treatment” for “carefully screened, adult patients” whose gender dysphoria has proven resistant to other forms of treatment. But opposed “treating children who may change their minds”. “Even this position is debatable as people who have undergone sex-change surgery after persistent gender dysphoria have later rejected their transgender identity and lamented the mutilation of their bodies” states PJ News in their article of Dr. Blanchard’s Twitter suspension. He also says that he believes “It should be illegal for Doctors to perform a sex-change operation on anyone under the age of 21 or anyone over the age of 21 who hasn’t already lived at least two years as the opposite sex.”

Seems pretty clear to me that the media isn’t in the business of attempting to help younger people suffering from dysphoria feel better. If they were, they would be allowing all of the details to see the light of day, not just the ones that fit a certain narrative.
