NFL Player Tired of ‘Abortion Lie’ Just Put His Money Where His Mouth Is to Save Lives
New Orleans tight end Benjamin Watson may not be know by everyone, but this pro-life advocate helps out at pregnancy centers when he’s off the field.
At a pregnancy center in Maryland, most women walk in asking, “how much are abortions”?
So when their Ultrasound machine, an important tool for these women to see there is a human in their belly, was old and barely working Watson stepped up and got a new one.
Life News said he replaced it with “a new, state-of-the-art 3D/4D ultrasound machine, which provides vital knowledge for the 7,000 women who call them each year”.

In 2016, Watson took aim at the controversial Planned Parenthood for their targeting of minorities for abortions
In a talk about how racial divide impacts abortions in the U.S., Watson said, “abortion saddens me period, but it seems to be something that is really pushed on minorities and provided to minorities especially as something that they should do.”
He continued, “We sit here and talk about advancing the black agenda, whatever that means, we talk about our interests, and what’s important to us – like having political power and advancement and all those things – and then we are turning around and we are killing our children, and we are buying the lie that it’s our personal decision to make.”
Then, in a powerful speech, Watson shared how empowered Fathers can be a huge help.
“Men. It is past time that we be the leaders, caretakers, and providers that we were meant to be. We as men must stand up for the lives of the innocent and their mothers in crisis”.
Men must rise up and lead the charge. Even if it wasn’t demonstrated for you by a Father, you can be different. You can change the course of generations. Men, we can be silent no more.

During his time at the pregnancy center, Watson heard several stories of lives that had been affected by the ultrasound machines.
One client went on to tell Watson the ultrasound was the only thing that set his family on a path to be saved, they “were on a self-destructive path of addiction until they saw their pre-born daughter on the screen.”
