A video of Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian is making the rounds on the internet, and it has feminists up in arms.
The video shows the celebrity power couple having an argument about the attire Kardashian was planning to wear at the 2019 Met Gala.
For what it’s worth, I would never write about such a stupid event if I didn’t think there was a good reason: this is that reason.
Anyway, Kanye wasn’t too pleased with the outfit his wife was planning to wear.
“I went through this transition where being a rapper, looking at all these girls and looking at my wife, like, ‘Oh my girl needs to be just like the other girls showing their body off,’” said West. “I didn’t realize that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone who is married and the father of now … about to be four kids. A corset is a form of underwear, it’s hot, for who though?”
West was asking a good question: who is Kim K trying to look “hot” for?
Of course, the SJW’s came out in full support of Kim wanting to “do her”, or whatever the fun phrase of the week is. The thing is, Kanye wasn’t trying to shame his wife. Instead, he was trying to practice his newly discovered faith.
Here’s what Kanye’s pastor, Adam Tyson, had to say about West’s journey in faith:
“Who’s gonna say that if they’re not meaning that they want Christ to be exalted in all that they do? [He told me], ‘From now on, all I want to do is serve Christ,” Tyson said. “I want every song that I sang, to have part of my testimony, to include the gospel, and to include the element of worship to our great God. That’s what I want to do.’”
Maybe Kanye was confused by his wife’s behavior, seeing as she had just been baptized with the family in Armenia.
How did Kardashian respond?
“You’re giving me really bad anxiety. You knew last night I had really bad anxiety and I don’t need any more negative energy and for you say you’re now not into me wearing a tight dress.”
