Baby Born Deaf Gets To Hear Mom’s Voice For The First Time, Her Reaction Will Melt Your Heart
When baby Charly was born to Christy Keane back in August doctors discovered that the little girl was profoundly deaf, and feared she may never hear.
Determined to give their baby the gift of sound, baby Charly’s parents set out to find a hearing aid that would allow their little one to experience the world in all its wonder.
After a few weeks had gone by, the family finally found some aids that seemed to work for Charly, and they captured the unbelievably precious moment she first hears on video.
“We had our miracle moment that I have been praying for when Char got her hearing aids today,” Christy wrote on a post to her Instagram. “We didn’t think she would hear anything so this was more incredible than I can put in to words. Her journey to implants and language development is off to an amazing start.”
The video features Christy telling her daughter “Hi,” and the little girl seems to almost cry. It’s obvious that she can hear her mommy talking to her, and it’s nothing short of amazing.
You won’t be able to keep the tears from flowing as this little baby hears her mother’s voice for the first time:
Isn’t modern medicine incredible? Every other week it seems like folks are being given the ability to see, or hear, or move. Thank God for these advances, and the way they have transformed the lives of so many!
