When you haven’t been in the spotlight for a good while and you’re a celebrity a good way to get some attention is to have a hot take on Trump.
Rosie O’Donnell peaked her head out from behind the curtain to complain again about being forced to live under a Trump administration. A country where she is twice a minority, yet enjoys a One Percent lifestyle, and has the freedom to say whatever she feels like at the time, and have people listen. Yeah, her life is tough. Here’s what she said to W Magazine,
“I was in pure unadulterated [shock], as if I had fallen through the ice on a lake; I was underneath the water, and I couldn’t even see the surface. It was a severe shock to my entire essence and my beliefs in the order in the world, and also the PTSD of having been an abused kid in a family.”
Speaking more about Trump’s four years in office specifically,
“I seriously worry whether I personally will be able to live through [A Trump presidency.]”
So let me get this straight.
Rosie O’Donnell is such a frail person internally that she can’t handle who the President of the United States is? A person who probably offends her chiefly because he’s a man, but beyond that Trump really has no bearing on her life.
If that’s the case, she’s speaking her own reality into existence, and her health will decline.
It’s sad how many people have been forced into counseling to cope with the fact that a rich white man is now the leader of the free world.
Trump and O’Donnell famously feuded during the election cycle. Trump singled her out numerous times for criticism, and never once backed away or downplayed how he chose to speak about her.
O’Donnell later came out attacking President Trump’s son, Barron, speculating as to whether or not he is Autistic. She said the point of this was to help get his son help, herself having a daughter with the disorder.
