JUST IN: Melania Responds To Cohen Tapes That Show Donald Trump Plotting Playmate Playoff
The New York Times reported on Friday that Michael Cohen had secretly recorded a conversation he had with then-candidate Donald Trump that happened just before the election in 2016.
The report was very short but said that the conversation claimed that there was a recording of the Trump payoff to a Playboy Playmate he once had an affair with.
Melania has finally responded in a statement given by the First Ladies spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham. She said, “Mrs. Trump remains focused on her role as a mother and as First Lady of the United States. We will have no further comment on the topic.”
Shortly after another response was posted to Twitter by Peter Alexander, a reporter for NBC news.

Truth Examiner reports:
The recording is reported to be of Cohen and Trump discussing paying off Playboy model Karen McDougal.
McDougal sold her story to the National Enquirer. The tabloid paid her $150,000 for the story which she no longer permitted to share outside of the magazine. The National Enquirer has long had a cozy relationship with Trump. They bought the story and never ran it, essentially killing it. The Washington Post reported later on Friday that the recording is 90 seconds long. In it, Cohen is featured encouraging Trump to purchase the rights to McDougal’s story from the National Enquirer’s parent company American Media Inc.
Cohen is heard on the recording telling Trump, “I think we need to bring this in-house.
On Saturday Trump reacted with a post on Twitter after the Gov’t gained access to the information illegally by breaking into Cohen’s office.
“Inconceivable that the government would break into a lawyer’s office (early in the morning) – almost unheard of. Even more inconceivable that a lawyer would tape a client – totally unheard of & perhaps illegal. The good news is that your favorite President did nothing wrong!”.
