The left has absolutely lost their mind, but that isn’t exactly anything new.
While folks in Hollywood and mainstream media constantly preach about “inclusion” and the dangers of bullying, it turns out that they have a tough time practicing what they preach.
You won’t find a better example of the left’s hypocrisy than what “comedian” Michelle Wolf did during the annual White House Correspondent’s Dinner.
In the past, the event has featured performances by critically acclaimed entertainers like Frank Sinatra, Jay Leno, Drew Carey, and Jimmy Kimmel, but this year they decided to go with the relatively unknown “comedian” Michelle Wolf.
Wolf, a correspondent for Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show”, took the stage, and immediately began hurling insults to members of Trump’s administration, comparing Sarah Huckabee Sanders to “an uncle Tom,” amongst other things.
After dragging the audience through a rendition of “how broke is he”, Wolf went after the women who work for the president.
“We should definitely talk about the women in the Trump administration.
There’s Kellyanne Conway. Man, she has the perfect last name for what she does. Conway. It’s like if my name was Michelle Jokes Frizzy Hair Small Tits. You guys have got to stop putting Kellyanne on your shows. All she does is lie. If you don’t give her a platform, she has nowhere to lie.”
After being met with a few petty laughs, Wolf continued to attack Conway.
“It’s like that old saying, if a tree falls in the woods, how do we get Kellyanne under that tree? I’m not suggesting she gets hurt. Just stuck. Stuck under a tree.”
Like most people, I’m still trying to figure out where the punch-line is. Is this what comedy has been deduced to?
Unfortunately for those in attendance, Wolf was just getting started. Her next target? Ivanka Trump.
“She does clean up nice, though. Ivanka cleans up nice. She’s the Diaper Genie of the administration: on the outside, she looks sleek, but the inside, it’s still full of shit.”
Wow, how pro-woman of her… Sadly, things only got worse from here, as she spent the next portion of her speech insulting White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
“I actually really like Sarah. I think she’s very resourceful. She burns facts, and then she uses that ash to create a perfect smoky eye. Like maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s lies. It’s probably lies.
And I’m never really sure what to call Sarah Huckabee Sanders, you know? Is it Sarah Sanders, is it Sarah Huckabee Sanders, is it Cousin Huckabee, is it Auntie Huckabee Sanders? Like, what’s Uncle Tom but for white women who disappoint other white women? Oh, I know. Aunt Coulter.”
Obviously Wolf lives in a liberal bubble where making fun of Republican women is acceptable. After all, in the minds of today’s leftist, you aren’t really a woman unless you support Democrats.
Since speaking at the dinner, left-wing outlets have come to defend her “jokes”, as well as late-night hosts like Seth Meyers (he’s still on TV? Good for him…).
Of course, these same people will be the first to call the president a “bully” or “anti-woman”. Obviously, they need to take a good look in the mirror.
