IHOP Just Revealed Its New Name After 60 Years In Business

One week ago the popular pancake restaurant IHOP sent out a teaser revealing that they would be announcing a name change after 60 years in business. The image is their logo with the “p” removed and replaced with a “b”.

You would assume it would have to do with pancakes, but oddly it’s not even close to that. President of IHOP, Darren Rebelez went on “Fox and Friends” Monday morning and reveled the the “b” stands for, “Burgers”.

Rebelez said…

“I’d love to welcome all of America to the world’s first ‘IHOb’ restaurant, which stands for the ‘International House of Burgers.”

He continued…

“You can get pancakes with your burger at the same time so you don’t even have to choose,” said Rebelez, who clarified that the new name is only temporary. It’s a “high-risk maneuver.”

If you are just as confused as I am you are not the only one. “IHOb’s” Twitter account was loaded with comments from customers wondering just what they were thinking.

The most popular comment asks if they are joking and the response was total all out serious.

I’m still confused, but apparently they will still have Pancakes on the menu. Ok. Nothing in this world makes sense any longer.
